We even lectured at Harvard, graced the cover of Life Mag, and groups gathered at bars and meet-ups to watch the show after work, and college kids did the same. The Internet has put a huge dent in tv and itunes killed Tower Records.A bad economy has meant that the stay at home moms and part time workers home to watch soaps have gone to work, those left are on the Internet or watching Jersey Shore on iTunes.Next to go will be DVDs for digital downloads and streaming. Book stores will now be websites accessible via iPad and Kindle.
